My Dream Life in 2035
By Mayur Rajegore
The year is 2035—ten years from now. As I sit back and think about my future, I see a life that is not just about success but about growth, learning, and fulfillment. While it’s impossible to predict everything, I have a vision of where I want to be and the steps I need to take to get there.
India is rapidly evolving, and by 2035, I want to be a part of this progress. I don’t just want a high-paying job or a luxurious lifestyle—I want to make an impact, contribute to society, and lead a life that I can be proud of.
Where Will I Be?
By 2035, I see myself settled in a city that offers both career opportunities and a good quality of life. I might be living in Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, or Gurgaon—India’s major tech hubs—or maybe even working remotely from a quieter city like Chennai or Kochi, enjoying a peaceful yet productive life.
I imagine myself owning a comfortable apartment or a modern house, decorated with a mix of Indian aesthetics and smart technology. A place that reflects my personality—where traditional wooden furniture meets AI-powered home automation. Maybe I’ll have a small workspace at home, where I can work on side projects, research, or even create content for my blog or YouTube channel.
I also dream of traveling—whether it's exploring the serene landscapes of Himachal Pradesh, experiencing the rich culture of Rajasthan, or going on an international trip to explore Silicon Valley, Europe, or Japan to learn from the best minds in the industry.
What Job Will I Have?
By 2035, I want to be a highly skilled professional in the tech industry. Some of the roles I see myself in include:
- Software Engineer/AI Specialist – Working on cutting-edge technologies in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or cybersecurity.
- Tech Entrepreneur – Running my own startup, solving real-world problems using technology. Maybe an AI-driven platform for Indian businesses, a fintech solution, or a product that enhances digital security.
- Cybersecurity Expert – With increasing cyber threats, I might specialize in securing digital assets for companies and individuals.
- Content Creator & Blogger – Along with my tech career, I want to continue blogging and creating videos about technology, football, personal growth, and life experiences. By 2035, I hope to have a large audience, inspiring others through my journey.
I don’t necessarily want to be part of the rat race—I want to do something meaningful, whether in a corporate setting, a startup, or my own business.
Steps to Turn My Dreams into Reality
Dreams remain dreams unless they are backed by action. Here’s how I plan to achieve my goals over the next decade:
1. Excelling in My Field of Study
- Over the next few years, I will focus on mastering computer science and engineering, ensuring I have a strong grasp of coding, AI, cybersecurity, and software development.
- Participating in coding competitions, hackathons, and internships will help me gain practical experience.
2. Building a Strong Professional Portfolio
- Working on personal projects, open-source contributions, and freelance work to gain real-world exposure.
- Developing my own applications or AI-driven projects that solve real-life problems.
- Writing technical blogs and research papers to establish my credibility in the industry.
3. Networking and Learning from Industry Leaders
- Connecting with experts through LinkedIn, GitHub, and tech conferences.
- Attending tech events like Google Developer Summit, India Stack Conference, and Startup India meetups.
- Learning from mentors, seniors, and professionals to understand industry trends.
4. Achieving Financial Stability
- By 2035, I want to be financially independent with a stable job, investments, and savings.
- Investing in stocks, mutual funds, or real estate to create multiple sources of income.
- If I start a business, I want to ensure it is financially sustainable, not just a passion project.
5. Giving Back to Society
- Mentoring students, helping them navigate their careers in technology.
- Contributing to social-impact projects, whether in education, rural tech development, or financial inclusion.
- Supporting open-source initiatives that benefit the tech community.
